Job 20:5 the joy the hypocrite is but for a moment?  

1. His Presence Gives Joy  

John 15:5 if you Abide in Me 

Psalms 16:11 You will show me the path of life; in your presence is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore. 

1 Thessalonians 5:16-17 Rejoice always, pray without ceasing,  

2. His Word brings Joy 

John 15:7 …my words remain in you 

Psalms 119:111 Your testimonies I have taken as a heritage forever, for they are the rejoicing of my heart. 

3. Joy is lost through Disobedience  

John 15:10 Keep my commandments 

Psalms 97:11 Light shines on the godly, and joy on those whose hearts are right. (NLT) 

Ecclesiastes 2:26 God gives wisdom, knowledge, and JOY to those who please Him. (NLT) 

Psalms 51:12 Restore to me the joy of your salvation 

Proverbs 29:6 Evil people are trapped by sin, but the righteous escape, shouting for joy. (NLT) 

4. Jesus will restore Your Joy  

John 15:11 that your joy may be full 

Hebrews 12:2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 

Psalms 51:12 Restore to me the joy of your salvation and uphold me by your generous Spirit. 

Isaiah 29:19 The humble will be filled with fresh joy from the Lord. 

John 16:24 Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full. 

Psalms 43: 3-4 O Send out your light and your truth! Let them lead me; Let them bring me to your holy hill. And to your tabernacle. Then I will go to the altar of God, To God my exceeding joy; and on the harp I will praise you o God, my God.
