Matthew 7:7-8 

Hebrews 7:25 Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them. 

Matthew 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 

1. Prayer Brings Reward 

Matthew 6:6 But you, when you pray, go into your room, and shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. 

Genesis 15:1 After these things the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying, do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward. 

2. Prayer brings Revival! 

Luke 3:21-22 When all the people were baptized, it came to pass that Jesus also was baptized; and while He prayed, the heaven was opened. And the Holy Spirit descended in bodily form like a dove upon Him, and a voice came from heaven which said, you are My beloved son; in you I am well pleased. 

Luke 9:29 As He prayed, the appearance of His face was altered, and His robe became white and glistening. 

3. Prayer brings Release 

Luke 22:40-43 When He came to the place, He said to them, He said to them, pray that you may not enter into temptation. And He was withdrawn from them about a stone’s throw, and He knelt down and prayed, saying, Father, if it is your will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless, not My will, but yours, be done. Then the angel appeared to Him from heaven, strength Ing Him.
