Presbyteros: Jesus Our Greatest High Priest II

Hebrews 4:14-16

Hebrews 4:14 Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession.

Hebrews 7:26 For such a high priest was fitting for us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and has become higher than the heavens.

Ephesians 4:11-13 And He (The High Priest) Himself gave some to be Apostles, some Prophets, some Evangelist, and some Pastors and Teachers. For the equipping of the Saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the statue of the fullness of Christ;

Romans 8:34 Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.

Luke 23:32 But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail; and when you have returned to Me, strengthen your brethren,

Hebrews 1:9 You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness; Therefore God, your God, has anointed You with the oil of gladness more than your companions.

Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is a reasonable service.

1 Peter 2:9 you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession.

Isaiah 5:20 Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

Matthew 20:25-26 But Jesus called them to himself and said, you know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and those who are great exercise authority over them. Yet, it shall not be so among you, let him be your servant.

Matthew 20:28 just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life a ransom for many.

Ephesians 5:25-28 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of the water by the word, that he might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.

Luke 4:14 and Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit to Galilee, and a report about him went out through all the surrounding country.

Luke 4:36 and they were all amazed and said to one another, what is this word? For with authority and power he commands the unclean spirits, and they come out!

Hebrews 10:12-14 But when Christ had offered for all time a single sacrifice for sins, he sat down at the right hand of god, waiting from that time until his enemies should be made a footstool for his feet. For by a single offering, he has perfected for all time those who are being sanctified.

1 Peter 2:5 you yourselves like living stones are being built up a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

Hebrews 13:15 Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifices of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.

Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.

Hebrews 9:13, 14 For if the blood of bulls and goats and the ashes of heifer, sprinkling the unclean, sanctifies for the purifying of the flesh, how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot of God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God.

Hebrews 10:22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.
